starring: JENNIFER BLAZE as Wondrous Woman, CLAIRE VAIL as Wondrous Girl, and ESTER AMORAL as HarlieQuinn Looking for a very special bomb stolen from S.T.A.R. Labs, both Wondrous Woman and Wondrous Girl are assigned to the task of bringing the demented villain to justice before he makes good with his promise to blow up a school with it. As they infiltrate the Joker's lair, their super-sensitive hearing picks up the faint tick-tock of a timer. Following the sound to its source, WW removes several pillows and reveals a ticking timebomb! Knowing that the device is pressure-sensitive, both women use their magic lassos and carefully wrap the massive bomb, letting the energies of the lassos neutralize the components of the explosive. As they do however the bomb unexpectedly activates, and in a flash of light the entire bomb shimmers away into nothingness instead of exploding mercilessly and blowing both amazons to smithereens. As the two heroines look quizzically on, Drusilla notes that when the bomb shimmered out of existence, it also took both of their magic lassos with! Now deprived of their wonder weapons, the amazons whirl around when Joker enters the room and sneers at the two do-gooders. He wants to make them both his new henchwomen but naturally both women refuse to serve the Harlequin of Hate. To make matters worse, when the door opens HarlieQuinn enters with a small sample of a radioactive substance she accidentally acquired from S.T.A.R. Labs. Angered that his assistant can't even do her job properly, the Joker is viciously mean to Harlie and soon sends her on her way. Exasperated, the Joker tries to deal with the two amazons but realizes his chances of winning any engagement are virtually nil. Testing a theory, the Joker sends in HarlieQuinn to deal with the two amazons waiting in the lobby of the Ha-Ha Hacienda, Hoping that the 'dumb luck' that constantly blesses Harlie's life will allow her to defeat the two superheroines, the Joker watches in secret as his henchwoman goes in to stop two superheroines at once. Soon enough, Harlie is able to defeat WW by tricking her and then clamping a large green dishcloth (soaked in something caustic and foul) over Wondrous Woman's nose and mouth. The mighty amazon signals to her step-sister that she's in and needs help, but because neither villain has proven to be much of a threat as of yet Wondrous Girl (erroneously) assumes that WW is simply 'testing' her step-sister once more in an attempt to give her on-the-job training. Knowing that her step-sister can't be defeated by something as mundane as mere mortal Claire feigns ignorance as WW goes down for real by Harlie Quinn. After seeing her step-sister lie on the floor in 'defeat', Wondrous Girl kicks her step-sister in the butt with her boot but becomes alarmed when she realizes that she's not playing. After asking what Harlie used on her step-sister and receiving an answer far more upsetting to Drusilla, the gloves are off. Unfortunately, HarlieQuinn also has a steel crowbar she uses for emergencies and she soon attacks Wondrous Girl with it. Bashed into oblivion, the moaning Wg gets an extra conk on the head with the steel crowbar for good measure and when both Wonder Women recover they find that the Joker has confiscated their feminum bracelets, leaving them unprotected against the Joker's well-armed stooges. Vulnerable now, both amazons are horrified to have acid squirted on their costumes (specifically, their power belts) and if they want the Joker to neutralize the potent 'universal solvent' smeared on their golden power belts, they'll have to remove their sources of power and dunk them in a barrel filled with the antidote. Reluctantly and with great trepidation, they both detach their golden belts and toss them into the nearby rain barrel, keeping their power belts intact but at the same time depowering themselves for whatever is to come. Great Hera! Will WG get her head smashed in? Will WW ever recover from her Faustaesque defeat at the hands of the Joker's henchwoman? What will happen if both heroines are captured? Tune in, and find out!
