Director Paul Thomas has always been an innovative individual who is anxious to try the different. He may strike out once in a while, but he sure gets his fair share of home runs to make up for this!

Lifeguard is essentially an interview tape with the various stars on location of one of his other movie sets. Thomas asks them interesting questions about the business and how it has influenced their lives. Short sex scenes are then inserted during strategic parts of the conversation.

Lifeguard, a unique tape, is more interesting and casual than it is hot and sexy. The encounters do generate some heat, but hearing the stars talk candidly about their experiences is a more genuine turn on. Most talk candidly about enjoying both the money and the sex, but Jon Dough probably sums up the feeling of everyone the best when he says, "we do it because we get paid for it; there are times we like it -there are times we hate it."

This video is not geared toward first time renters looking for fast thrills. Lifeguard aims for intelligent viewers who love adult movies and are interested in what makes the performers tick and the customers in this segment of the buying public will enjoy it.

Buck Adams has come a long way. He started out as a walking hard-on, and has now become a walking hard-on who can act the pants off of actors with twice his experience. He plays Eddie, a typically middle-class guy who is slaving away at his job just to keep up his middle-class lifestyle.

Lottery Lust takes a cute idea and builds a wonderfully charming story around Eddie's mundane existence that changes when he wins one million dollars in the lottery. He forgets about his girlfriend, since all she ever thought about was how to spend his money, and with his roommate (Jason Fox) set out to get their full of life in the fast lane.

Video quality is concurrent with the advancing standards, building lush images from smoothly intercut sex scenes that titillate and tease. The camera glides in so closely that one can see a vagina lubricating while being eaten.

As with most current product, this tape is somewhat of a wall-to-waller. Renee Summers looks to be making a comeback, too. She has never looked (or acted) better than here. the closeness and sensitivity in the camera technique is the element that makes this production happen. There is nothing like a gradual close-up of a man dripping upon a woman's breast, that focuses on her nipple growing hard from the stimulation. It looks like Lottery Lust proves to be a winning ticket.

Jerome Tanner has hit upon a winner with Nymphette Does Hollywood, a comical look at a frustrated nympho (Careena Collins) and the effect she has on a top-rated prime time soap. It's fun, it's comical, and, above all, it's sexy as Collins takes on all comers in this sequel to Nymphette.

Herschel Savage plays the producer of a prime time hit, Monastery, which is fighting to regain its #1 rating. He needs a new girl, one with spunk and enthusiasm, to boost the ratings, and who happens along but Nymphette Careena. The entire plot is too deep to divulge here, but suffice to say Clinton Darke's script is well done, complete and at times had me laughing out loud (Savage's line to secretary Sheri St. Clair - "You're a good head secretary, Fellatio" - is but one of the real laughers here).

Sexually this is a Collins vehicle, and her impish good looks and lusty ferocity really steam up the screen. Her three-way with Tom Byron and Mike Horner smokes, as does her lesbian trio with cute Janette Littledove and horny Elle Rio. Also, Randy West's audition of virgin Breezy Laneis titillating, and is one of the few times a neophyte doesn't come off as a seasoned pro. Everything about Nymphette Does Hollywood is professional, and is highly recommended for anyone looking for a good time.
